All of our dancers play a very special part at ABC. Whether they dance one day a week or many days, each and every student is a valuable member of our dance family.  Our students learn how to work together and support each other, making them a strong team. We are very proud of our students for their commitment to the art of dance, to their communities, and for helping create an atmosphere  of unity and acceptance.

At ABC, we believe in a solid foundation in various dance techniques and offer a wide range of classes for both beginner and advanced levels.  We are proud to instruct with a developmentally appropriate curriculum that ensures the safety of our students.  Our schedule offers  creative movement, pre-dance, ballet/tap/tumble (trilogy),  conditioning/technique, classical ballet, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical/contemporary, musical theatre, acrobatics, hip-hop, ballet-pointe, and new this year, a floorwork class.   We want our students to be challenged, while having fun and developing a true love for dance and the arts.

Our staff believes in supporting the whole child.  We are there to give our students a wonderful dance education, as well as responsible guidance and support.  We encourage our dancers to use their talents to make a difference.  We take part in many community events and participate in Relay for Life with our team, Awareness Beats Cancer Dancers, raising over $25,000 so far for the American Cancer Society!  We also raise money for Multiple Sclerosis Society and hold an annual Holiday Benefit to collect food for our local food pantry and soup kitchen.  Not only are our dancers extremely talented, but they are intelligent, friendly, loving people who are supportive of each other and their community.

Dance is a healthy activity that fosters creativity, confidence, teamwork, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle.  It's good for the mind, body, & soul.  Our students learn to think out of the box and how to manage their time.  Many of our students are on honor/high honor roll, involved in student council and other leadership organizations, and participate in community service projects.

ABC Center for Performing Arts was awarded Business of the Years in May, 2019 by the Sidney Chamber of Commerce!  This was such an honor for Miss Amy and all of her faculty.

We hope you will come and see for yourself, why ABC continues to be a wonderful learning environment for students of all ages.  ABC is beginning it's 28th season of dance education, community service, and friendship. We would love for you to join our ABC family!
